Online Classroom
Program

Client : Miracles Playhouse                                                               March 2020

A playschool based out of Ghaziabad running successfully in the region for the past 4 years suddenly found itself unprepared for the digital learning push that COVID bought upon all businesses. From shifting to online classrooms to training the teaching staff for the same, the client was looking for an end to end solution including marketing an online classroom program to parents. Brainstormed and strategized a new teaching model that would support all stakeholders. Delivered presentation decks & supporting documents, sales & marketing material along with video production support and teachers training.

The client approached me with an immediate need to adapt to the new normal of managing a school entirely online. This was not just about creating an online classroom but to curate an entire model to make sure that every part of the learning process of a toddler is included and managed. With a low digital & technology awareness in the teaching staff, training was a crucial part of the requirement along with creating all marketing & sales content.

The Approach

The project started off with a lot of research and brainstorming sessions with the director of the playschool who had extensive experience as a teacher. Her knowledge of various teaching methodologies helped me curate a model to monitor & track the learning of the students. And thus came to life, Miracles Online Classroom Program, an initiative to use the teaching aids and interaction tools available to the school and design an implementation model that would assure the kids get the required development channels. We identified the 4 pillars of this model that would be required to focus on overall growth.

All of these pillars of the model were to play a crucial part in how the kids are consuming all the concepts and skills that are being taught to them online. For this model to be successful, parents had to play an important part as well in the program. Firstly to make the kids feel included in the learning and exploring process and secondly in the assessment to gauge how much has the child consumed.

Along with the conceptualization of the model, training the teachers to upgrade their skills and comfortably host, conduct and manage an online classroom was crucial to the program.
